Nice little restaurant with an excellent atmosphere to grab a quick bite to eat. The decor is pretty cool! I got the carne asada burrito which had really good flavor and was huge! I did not have to wait long for my food once I ordered. I highly recommend this place!
Their summer special was an amazing blend of sweet, savory and just a hint of spice (which is great for someone who loves spice, but spice doesn't like them so much). A very generous serving of delicious guacamole and the sweet corn cakes hit the spot. I'll definitely be returning!
I've always heard good things about Juan More Taco but haven't had the opportunity to go before today. I am so glad I finally experienced what everyone raves about! Their food, drinks and above all customer service (especially Harold!! Today was Harold's 1st day and he absolutely killed it with his customer service and sweet smile! I can't wait to check in with his new journey here) are exceptional! Maria, the owner, is so lovely and you can tell she gives her whole heart to her restaurant. In the short time I was in today for lunch, I know my heart will remain full for days. The atmosphere was so positive, inclusive and encouraging - from staff-staff, to customer-customer ,Juan More Tacos felt very communal even for a 1st timer. The food was incredible. I got stuffed peppers with birria beef -wow. Rarely do I ever see stuffed peppers on a menu in the first place, but then to have the option to choose your protein and they have birria?!?! I was so excited to try and it even more impressed when it came out so beautiful and fresh in under 10 mins. So so good! Juan More Tacos is a must stop if you are passing through town or a 540 local.
Getting used to tacos from the locals , when I used to live in Arizona. It was hard for me to find a good place for real or maybe , something close to that taste that you got used to. Finding this place , I had that exciting feeling that it will be my new normal. I was not wrong !! Their burrito “keto” bowl was divine! The vegetables was so fresh , that you can hear that crunch ! Their carne asada had a great balance of acidity and seasoning . I also love that there were bits and pieces of the meat that were cooked a little more . It gave it that texture to the meats. Their elotes was so close to the ones I used to eat , by the street. I love street corn with the Mayo, cilantro, the cheese and the spice powder. It was savory , and juicy . I love this place!! Not only was the food great, but the staff made the wait bearable as well. Support local :) especially this one , because their food is just to die for .
Wonderful fay spent eating tacos and cold beer. Great seats next to the street. Weather was great. Staff was amazing! Chicken and birria tacos were great and will definitely order again next time!
Stopped in for a quick lunch on a visit to Fredericksburg. We had the corn cakes and tacos. The meat on the tacos was a bit dry but it tasted fine. The corn cakes were absolutely delicious.
Juan More Taco is a go to while in Historic Downtown Fredericksburg! Always consistent and the tacos are fantastic. Prices are a bit high but definitely worth it. The box of 25 tacos for 75 is a great way to try different tacos and for hosting.
So good! My son compared the tacos to his mother’s, stating they may be the only tacos he’s had that are in the running. We’ve tried a few different tacos, and still have plenty of menu options to explore on future visits. Very cool atmosphere in downtown Fredericksburg.
